Have you ever met someone who has said, “I’m more stupid and dumber than last year?”

Have you ever heard someone saying, “You have touched a new level of maturity?”

No, right? So, how do you know that you are at peak of your wisdom?

In psychology, maturity is the ability to respond to the environment is aware of the correct time and location to behave and knowing when to act, according to the circumstances and the culture of the society one lives in.

But, maybe your right move is perceived as wrong by the other person. So are you immature or mature?

Imagine you make a wrong decision today, tomorrow someone comes for an advice to you, so, what will you be called, an immature person or a mature person?

Age doesn’t define maturity, so what does?

I feel there is no set definition for terms like “Maturity”. Each one of us has to make decisions, some are wrong, some are right or to rephrase some go in our favour and some don’t. The result of your decision would define you as a “mature” or an “immature” person.

Maturity + Immaturity = Human Beings

If you go by the set definitions of society, you will always be termed as an immature person.

Having a little fun, while I work helps me increase my productivity, for some that “little fun” would be a sign of immaturity, but for me, it’s a sign of maturity, it helps to bring out the best in me!!
