The current times have taught us that nothing is permanent, the air we breathe, the life we live, the luxuries we enjoy.
It has taught us that unrest can be caused by anything, something which is as big as a Tsunami and as small as Virus.
What we need to realize is, live each moment to its fullest. Live a life where there are no regrets, a life filled with gratitude rather complaints.
As humans, it’s in our nature to do things only when there is a necessity, a simple thing like washing our hand for 20 seconds, has become a necessity, which basically is part of maintaining personal hygiene. This shows what humans lack is discipline.
We start exercising, when the doctors says its a do or a die situation, we start eating all the leafy vegetables when we understand how it is impacting our eyesight. We take things seriously only when there is a need.
The lock down has taught me few things :
Be full of gratitude – Where we are privileged enough that we have a roof on our head, there are people struggling to reach their homes.
Spread Smiles – When everybody around you is so stressed, you don’t want to make things worse, spread happiness, do activities that make you happy, involve people in those activities, spread smiles, not just in the current situation, but make this part of your life.
Everyday is a new day– If we add one new thing in our routine everyday, we won’t ever get bored. That’s how life should be, right? Filled with new experiences and new emotions. Isn’t this what we all are doing right now, finding things to pass our time?
The promise of hope – Every low point of your life is a road to the high point of your life, there is always a ray of hope, the positive attitude and hard work will take you to your destination
COVID-19 is an eye opener to us, the humans.
Remember, going to zoo, seeing animals in cage, that’s us now, the animals are free, while we are under lock down, be empathetic, you never know where will you be tomorrow, in whose position you will be.
This whole thing has given us the chance to look at ourselves, and give ourselves a second chance to change the way we live, the way we perceive things.
It is a rebirth of our consciousness, use it wisely. Not everyday you get second chances.
Amazing, keep it up. Great article.
“Remember, going to the zoo..” – Very apt. My take mirroring your reference on the current stage of our lives.: We are inside our own self made zoo with the nature playing spectator from the outside.
Keep up the great moving writing.
Cheers
Very true..No matter how much we grow,we will always be puny in front of mother nature so its high time we should act accordingly.
Amazing piece of work. Worth reading and meaningful.

The basic thing that drive the humans( so called ) is fear and greed and now the fear is dividing the society , it is the time and opportunity to look inside and feel and your blog Nothing is permanent is right direction to say .

Very well written article, it reminds me of Swami Vivekananda who said “Whatever you think, that you will be. If you think yourselves weak, weak you will be; if you think yourselves strong, strong you will be.”. Keep it up.

We have very short memories and I pray we remember and understand the life and death experience all the humanity is passing through now. I wish the guardians of the ecology and environment may not face the same hardships again.
